Born in Uruguay, Andréa Wolff moved to Canada in the late 1960’s. Graduating from McGill University in 1977, she received her degree with distinction and a number of awards, including a medal from the Royal Institute of Canada.

In the beginning of her career, she worked at the internationally renowned office of Moishe Safdie Architect and gained practical local experience at Tolchinsky and Goodz, architects and at Dimakopoulos and Partners.

Her creativity and experience in managing large scale projects led to the foundation of ARCHITEM; in which she continues to exercise her leadership skills, providing strong conceptual direction to projects of varying size and complexity. She sits on the Planning Advisory Committee of Westmount, is an active member of the Board of the Montreal Sexual Assault Centre, the Patricia Mackenzie Pavilion (a shelter for homeless women), and MAB-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre. She is Vice President of Maison de l’Architecture du Québec.
